We are home! There is still much to do by way of unpacking and taking care of immediate needs (like hurrying to acquire a plunger when the 2 year old flushes an entire roll of toilet paper...), but we are here and loving it. How nice to sleep in your own bed again after 2+ months!
Pictures will be another week or so, our internet is supposed to be up on Tuesday. I am "borrowing" the neighbors wireless - with his permission - until then to keep the iPad going. Can't get the desktop to recognize the network for some reason.
The last few weeks have been a whirlwind; we moved out of the first hotel, house-sat for 5 days, moved into another hotel (closer to school), dumped our things at the new house, left town with mom and dad m for mckinley's blessing in GJ, came back and camped out in the new house for a few days while we cleaned the carpets and waited for the moving truck to get here. It came on Wednesday, all our things appear to be here and not broken, we have beds, a kitchen table big enough for all of us to sit at and eat at the same time, toys, the list goes on and on. Yesterday we set up the tramp while Kip was at work - woo hoo!
The blessing weekend was busy but fun, we went to see Les Mis here in Denver before leaving town, it was sort of my birthday present and it was great! I am very excited to be close to all the theater and music opportunities here. It was nice to see all the family again, the kids had fun with their cousins, we ate yummy food from the garden, thanks mom and dad t! McKinley is still a pretty happy little baby but screamed all the way through her blessing. No one can be happy ALL the time. :)
School is still going well for the kids, although I think Ella liked her first kindergarten teacher better than this new one. I think I liked first one better too - this new one gives homework. For kindergartners, really? But both kids were thrilled on Friday because they made it onto the awesome board at school and got little prizes. I know they are awesome, it's nice for the teachers to see that too. :)
Today at church I was amused by the kids' drawings...picture of Jesus? Nope. Temples? Nope. Rainbows? Nope. T-rexes dripping blood and tanks obliterating things? Yes. Even Ella. Tee hee.

This morning we talked with the kids about the special meaning of today, what happened 10 years ago, and how we can honor the day be giving service to someone. We sure love all of our family and feel grateful for the time and memories we have with each of you. Sending hugs all around.
