Kinney!

Guess who pointed to herself and said her name this week?
This girl!
She's been able to say everyone else's name for a while now, including Rachel, which I thought was tricky.  When we'd point to her in the mirror or a picture, she would either say "baby" or just grin and say nothing.  Out of the blue this week, standing in the living room, she pointed to her chest and said "Kinney!"  So cute.

Got some pictures back from sports -
Ella, grade 1-2 volleyball, she is getting consistent with serving over the net but otherwise in la-la land. :)  Seems to enjoy playing though!  And Rachel is the only girl on her mini-mite soccer team, but she is the best listener during practice and was very excited at their first "game" (last 10 minutes of practice) that she made a goal.  Usually they have a ball for everyone and they all kick and run and do drills, etc.  So they were very confused when the coach took away all the balls except one and tried to get them to play a "game."  They sort of all started wandering different directions, looking for their parents and whoever had snack.  :)
Rachel has funny moments all the time, like yesterday when I lay down to take a nap with her and feigned snoring, then smiled and peeked at her.  She rolled her eyes at me (age 4 going on 14) and said, "Mom, girls don't snore."

Caleb's doing good with soccer, also, but we missed picture day for him because it was the same day as his karate tournament.  We'll get him next week with photos of the pinewood derby that we've been working hard for.  The girls too, actually, in the "open" division - three cars cut, sanded and painted.  woo hoo!
