Teenager. Wait, what?

"Teenagers.  You give them an inch, they swim all over you."

So says Sebastian the crab (from The Little Mermaid).  We now officially have a TEENAGER in the house!  That is kind of wild.  And he is excited about it!  Per Grandma Mitchell's suggestion, he has been making a mental list of all the PG-13 movies he wants to watch and the video games he can now play.  His first movie: Pirates of the Carribean, 1, 2, &3.  Maybe because we were fresh from Disney and he had it on his mind.  He has played piano songs from Pirates in the past.  

He currently loves Nerf guns and uses them to make movies for film class and play games with Ella and friends.  So to celebrate his birthday, he found a place called Dart Warz where you can bring your Nerf gun - or rent one of theirs - and shoot other people in an indoor arena.  Perfect!  So he and Kip took Carter and had an awesome two hours shooting to their hearts content. 

Later we had a little family party with ice cream and gifts, which was a hit.  In fact, he got to hit the ice cream place twice!  Once with Carter, and once with his sisters.

Caleb is a gifted mathematician.  He enjoys music, roller blades, his scooter, soccer, Nerf guns of all types, learning how to sell things on ebay, and his newly opened world of PG-13 movies.  :)  He likes Boy Scouts and has done a great job earning lots of merit badges so he can reach Eagle rank before he gets too old and busy with school/work/friends.  He enjoys making films for school, editing, and posting them on youtube.  We love having him in our family - Happy birthday Caleb!
