We've been at it again - moving everything we own, and thinking - again - that we seriously own too much stuff. We spent about a week and a half moving loads from house and the storage unit, but now we've got most of it here and most of it unpacked. Thank you so much to the nephews and brothers who helped us move everything. The kids were excited to see some of their things again, like their stick horses...
Ella: Mom, why did you put my horse in jail?
Me: Jail?
Ella: Yeah.
Me: You mean storage?
Ella: Yeah.
We really like the house we are in and look forward to a fun summer with family and hopefully lots of swimming/hose parties. Caleb is still praying to go find caterpillars at Grandma and Grandpa's, but we don't have any mature trees to pick leaves and feed them. (Alas, all three of his died at Ragged Mountain over Memorial Day). Just today though we went to educational supply store and saw a Butterfly kit where you get them in the mail and put them in a net enclosure thing, where they can attach to the walls to form their chrysalis and turn into a butterfly, so that might be a better option. Caleb was bummed when we left with a globe instead of a Butterfly Kit. ("A world? I don't want a world. Can we go back and get something different?") Maybe next time, kiddo.
