(or, Alalina - if you ask her. She usually insists that her name is NOT Ella.) We celebrated in grand style, with pancakes and blueberries for breakfast (NOT blueberry pancakes), macaroni for lunch, and pizza for dinner. She wanted a butterfly party, so we had a butterfly cake, butterfly decorations, and lots of sparkles everywhere. We had a great party with friends and cousins, with pipe cleaner antennas all around. Really, what more could a 5 year old want?! Thanks to everyone who helped make her day extra special. Happy Birthday beautiful girl!
(And since she got to wear whatever she wanted, of course it was her gymnastics outfit, backwards!)
On a side note, I have to add what Caleb just said, as we get ready for dinner:
(Caleb has been yelling about EVERYTHING and clearly needs to go to bed soon.)
Me: Caleb, you need to calm down, buddy. Why are you so grumpy?
Caleb: IT'S THE CHICKEN! It makes you good soccer!! That's what it DOES!
?????
he he he.
