It's official, the fall rec sports season is over! The weather this year was extremely cooperative, there were a couple of chilly games/practices, but no blizzards or anything this time. Yay! I have mentioned before that Caleb's football team has multiple professional photographers, so we get awesome photos. (Coach calls them our personal paparazzi.) What we love most about many photos this season is that they show Caleb's speed...as soon as that ball is snapped, he is IN THERE grabbing for flags, before most of the boys have moved yet. The proof is in the pictures!
Love it. Occasionally they moved him out of the middle, so he chased some guys down.
Unfortunately, neither Rachel nor Ella had photographer parents on their teams, but we did spring for the sports photos that we have opted out of for the last few seasons.
What I find highly amusing about the team photos is that they are all photo-shopped together; each kid gets individuals taken and then the team photos are created. The funny thing is that they make all the kids look around the same size, which is very aesthetically pleasing, but not at all accurate. Coming from the parents of the always-smallest-on-the-team kids, it's kind of wonky to see them the same size as everyone else. The kids don't notice, or care, it's just funny to see them all even-steven in the photos. Haha!
