November 9th we celebrated Ella's 9th birthday - it was her golden birthday!! She had a lot of fun with her BFF Bella coming up for the weekend, they were able to play and go to open gymnastics night at the gym. Great fun! I would not say that any of these are award-winning photos, but we just had our family pictures done so those count. :)

Ella is our sweet little peacemaker. She is always willing to play with whoever needs a friend; she is quick to smile, quick to do what is asked of her (if she doesn't get distracted by something shiny on the way) and quick to serve others. She LOVES drawing/writing/creating, she is always making little cards, and pictures, and books to give away as gifts. She likes her gymnastics class and volleyball, as long as they don't beat the other team too badly (then she is sad for them). She likes all animals and would like to BE an animal, but since she can't really be one, she dreams of working with animals some day, in some capacity. She loves to play the piano and likes to challenge herself with pieces that are just a little harder than her skill level because they sound cool. She is such a sweet girl and we love her very much - we are so happy she is in our family!
