Happy Halloween!

And now for the obligatory Halloween costume photos.  We just finished sorting out their 17 pounds of candy (from 1 1/2 hours of trick-or-treating)...and yea, they will be getting this candy in their stockings in a few months.  Plus we will be eating it on any road trip we take for any upcoming holidays...and as treat for the next 341 Family Home Evenings. Hooray for Halloween! :)  Meet Mulan (she did not want her hair fixed or any makeup on.  Ok by me!

A Colorado cheerleader (she DID want makeup and oh my, we are in trouble when this girls gets older.  I will let her run around like a wild animal without brushing her hair for as long as she wants.  Boys, she can't date until she's graduated from COLLEGE.)

The kids, of course, had a blast trick-or-treating.  Our ward Halloween party was the next night, November 1st (what?) so we got to dress up again and head over to that.  I was a mean mom and we left after the party but before trunk-or-treating.  No more candy for you!  Phew.  Wipe the brow, call it a success, and let's get back to school work!
