Another week of Orchard Options, another contest - this time it was "Ugly Sweaters." I didn't invest too much...I bought the cheapest sweaters I could find at Goodwill, then let them cut out shapes/pieces from sticky-back foam and create their sweaters. Here, the girls modeled their sweaters - Caleb was not interested in modeling. See that little person pretending to be asleep in front? She WON the Ugly Sweater contest for elementary with her abstract creation, and another $5 Subway gift card!
On the same day, the annual talent show ended the day and semester at Options; for the first time Ella participated by reciting "A Visit From St. Nicholas" by Clement Clarke Moore. She did GREAT! She worked so hard to memorize the whole poem and impressed everyone with her presentation. Good job, Ella!
