Where the wind comes sweeping down the plains

We made our summer visit to Oklahoma and it was awesome!  The only bad part is that we wish Kip could be there with us, but Shaw is super-picky about him working a certain amount of days for his paycheck. :)  Just kidding.  We love Shaw.  We will be thrilled in 2 more years when he gets another week of vacation.

Anyhoo, Oklahoma!  Our kids handle 12 hour drives remarkably well, we are lucky.  It was a great week...the girls spent a lot of time trying to get a glimpse of Smoky the cat, who spent a lot of time hiding; we all swam a ton at the neighbor's pool while he's overseas for work (with his permission of course), Caleb played bionicles and legos from the John-and-David stash, it was a ball.

We got to visit Brian, Rebecca, and John and is girlfriend Diana in Moore.  McKinley posed for Aunt Rebecca:

We always wish there were more time to stay, but we had fun and a nice drive back.  Happy Summer!
