This week we had the chance to go up the local mall and see the Lego Americana exhibit - so cool! Historical buildings and monuments all built out of Legos! And the cherry on top - lego bins to play in for as long as you want. :)

...and then my phone died. It was a very cool way to spend a couple of hours, and Caleb was a little disappointed that the trip did not culminate in buying lots of new Legos, but he got over it pretty quickly.

Finally, we went to see Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat downtown Friday night!
It was so fun! Unfortunately the title character was a little weak (think backstreet boys, or maybe... a kazoo) but the rest of the production was spectacular! "Those Canaan Days" - Hilarious. Kip really enjoyed it, it is a very fast-paced and high energy show with only one slower number. And since this Joseph wasn't the best, I did come home and listen to Donny Osmond (circa the 1999 film version) sing "Close Every Door" so I could clear the kazoo version out of my head. ha! So pumped to go see Wicked again this summer and the Piano Guys at Red Rocks. I sort of bought more show tickets that usual this year - and also Lion King is coming in November?! Holy cow. Hooray for the year of the show tickets!
