We sold our Gypsum house.
To the people who were currently renting it.
So we didn't have to "prepare" it, or list it, or show it.
It actually happened!
Papers are signed.
Done deal.
WOO HOO!
No more double mortgages!
No more landlord duties!
WOO HOO!
It was a little tiny bit nostalgic because we have such fond memories of the people and there, and the town itself. We loved living there. We built that home - our first home - from the ground up, acting as our own general contractors. We drove around for a while reminiscing.
(This picture is not from the sale time, it is from the beginning, when we first completed everything.)
But this picture is from sale day:
And this one. We took this as a good token, a full rainbow on our drive home. It was breathtaking!
Goodbye Gypsum! Thanks for all the good times.
