Sweet Ella turned 11 years old this week! She loves how surprised new friends are when she tells them her age - she is still very petite in size, but not in talents or personality!
Since this was an add-age year, we had a smaller celebration. She invited her friend Chloe (from Orchard Options) to join her in a movie (Storks), dinner (Chick-Fil-A), and treats (sugar cookies). Chloe also was able to stay and join Ella for activity days in the evening before wrapping up the fun filled day!
Ella has moved on from gymnastics to rock climbing, which she has a natural gift for! Perhaps in the future we'll look into competitive climbing if she is interested. She's loving her classes so far. She still loves piano and has even composed two of her own songs. She has also learned some songs on the recorder from her Orchard Options music teacher. For her birthday, she got a ukelele, so we are super excited to hear more of her music talent!
Ella loves animal of all kinds, stuffed and real, and is considering being a veterinarian or zookeeper someday, along with a few other things,
Ella is a good big sister, often playing games with the younger girls or finding positive ways to motivate and encourage them to do their school work and chores.
She loves her bike and her roller blades, and still is up in a tree if she can find one to climb!
We love Ella and are so happy she is in our family!!
