Shaw recently put out feelers to see if Kip would be interested in moving to the Jackson Hole area and working the division there. It's hard to make that type of life-changing decision/move without some idea of what you might be getting into, so this past weekend we dropped everything, covered a bunch of bases, and drove out to Jackson Hole. He met with the people in the office, and we drive all over creation looking are various towns in Wyoming and Idaho where we would potentially live if we took this offer.
It was a lot. of. driving.
and an unbelievable amount of snow (over 500 inches they've gotten this season!)
and a tiny motel room.
We did manage to squeeze in some fun one morning while Kip was visiting potential job sites. We walked around visited the atler arches:
And Ben Franklin.
And the thrift store, where Rachel found this cute purple bear and asked, "Mom, does this bear say 'I love veggies?'" Almost, cute girl, almost. :)
But my personal favorite was the old time photo shoot with the kids, they had a blast getting all dressed up - even Caleb! The photographer was hilarious and kept us entertained the whole time.
Then, back into the car for more driving. Did I mention there was a lot of snow? This was in one neighborhood that we drove through, no big deal, just a MOOSE in someone's front yard, standing on a 6-7 foot pile of snow, eating a tree. Yeesh!
We arrived home at 1 am and fell into bed - and since we got back, we have not worked very hard to get anything accomplished above and beyond resting and cleaning the car out. No decision yet on whether we move or where...time will tell I guess.
