The Honorable Judge Ella Thygerson!

The reason we made an effort to get back late on a Tuesday night instead of staying an extra day in the Jackson area was because Ella is participating in Ameritowne, and was running to be the town judge.  Last week, they held primary elections, and Ella made it into the top 4, but she needed to be here Wednesday morning for the final election.  She made her own poster and got her speech written before we took off for Jackson - good thing, because there was no time when we got back!!  She made sure to wear a lovely dress and brush/curl her hair to look her best for job interview day.

Guess what?  She won the election!  It was very exciting and quite impressive to see her succeed in her goal through her own hard work and determination.
