Blue Angels + WalMart for the win!

We have done a LOT of exploring over the last 2 weeks in Wyoming and Idaho, but this Saturday was a special trip to Idaho Falls for the Extremem Blue Thunder Air Show 2017!  Kip has wanted to see the Blue Angels fly for a long time - lucky us that they were so close to our new house!  It was a long, hot, but AWESOME day on the field watching the planes!  The kids enjoyed it as long as we kept McKinley plied with food/treats/water all day. :)
We had fun walking the tarmac and visiting vendor tents before the show; we were there quite early to get good spots right next to the fence.

It was very cool!  My Aunt Heather and Uncle Jerry drove up from Blackfoot and we got to visit with them for the first time in a while, which was so fun!  Before coming home we made a stop at WalMart; this was a highlight because even though it's not my favorite store, we are a little short on retail experiences around Alpine...so we were stuffing the cart as full as possible!  It was funny, and a little embarrassing strolling out of there with 2 carts loaded with food and fans and goodies.  A stop at Culvers for some delicious frozen custard on the way out capped the day off.
Hoorah for adventures!
