water week

Last week we had a wet and wild week, despite a cooler and cloudier/rainier summer than usual.  But hey, look at our rainbows!

 

We threw a water balloon party with some neighbor kids, it was awesome!  We spent several hours filling up something like 400-450 water balloons, and they lasted for about 15 minutes, which is actually longer than I thought.  but even when the balloons were out, the water-squirter things and the hose were in full usage.  It was fun!

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Later in the week, we packed up to go to the pool, and too bad for us, it was closed down because the pump was not functioning.  The kids were disappointed, but it gave us a chance to whip out the slip-and-slide, woo hoo!

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 We found a new temporary pet!

 Kip was having a lot of fun also. Hehe.

 

 

 Kinley and Rachel figured out they could use the A/C unit as a hair dryer!
