Finally Five!

It was a big day for the birthday girl - pre-school graduation and our wastewater tour were both the same day.  What better way to celebrate?!
We also made it to a park to play for a while, with a Frozen balloon, naturally!
She LOVES finding fluffy dandelions to blow!
After our other adventures, we enjoyed strawberry pie (her requested dessert) and presents with our friends, the Smiths.

McKinley is a loud and loveable little girl with enthusiasm to rival professional cheerleaders!  She is spunky and funny and quick-witted.  She loves gathering treasures of all sorts and storing them in corners, boxes, bags, purses, pockets, or pillowcases.  Treasures could include toys, money, pretty papers, plain papers, wrappers, lids, food, jewelry, sparkly rocks, leaves, or ANYTHING else that catches her eye.  She can write her name and likes to make lists and notes to take to the store when we shop for groceries. She loves letting her hair flow free and changes clothes multiple times a day - she knows how important it is to have just the right outfit for each adventure!  We love her and could not imagine our family without this sweet girl.  Happy Birthday McKinley!
(McKinley writing her name for the first time, a month before her 5th birthday)
