First up: the first grade play, Go Fish, in which McKinley played a dancing shark and ended up with a speaking part at the last minute when her friend was not at school but McKinley had the part memorized. She did great!
Next on the agenda: playing "Ladybug Club" outside for so long that at bedtime she can't even make upstairs to her own bed! Sooooo tiiiiiiired.
Speaking of tired, all that busyness means lots of falling asleep in the car...but looking good while doing it!
And not to be missed: 8th grade Promotion! Featuring our very own Honor Roll soon-to-be-high-schooler, Caleb!
Check! Now, for a remembrance of Rachel's rocket, which parents were invited to watch on launch day but we couldn't squeeze it in:
Rachel was also the artist who made our "countdown caterpillar" to the end of school - here it is with only the last 1/2 day left!
Recognizing the banking days finishers - they got prize bags and $25!
And "graduating" to middle school.
With her teacher, Miss Ward
I hope you're not tired yet because there is MORE! The last day of school:The bus stop kids and doggies for one last wait:
Rachel broke out the dangly earring for the first time on the last day. Woot!
And last but not least, the work goes onward for our house building. Currently: excavation and laying forms for the footings.
Now, who's ready for a NAP?!
